Rakuten is a cash-back company based in the US. Customers who sign up and buy sure products/services get Cash Back on their purchases. Rakuten partnered with Lyft (the ride-sharing app) to offer customers Cash Back on EVERY ride for the campaign.
For this brief, I had to drive people through to download the Rakuten app. From there, they can access the offer. The content predominantly targets Lyft customers, but anyone could see it. For this reason, the videos needed to adhere to the Lyft brand guidelines. The goal was to keep the animations clean, not super-busy, crazy videos. They should be clear and easy to digest but still eye-catching.
